01
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LegacyQuill Agency website and any services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our team, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
02
Our Services
LegacyQuill Agency provides author services including ghostwriting, editing, book cover design, formatting, self-publishing support, Amazon KDP optimization, and book marketing. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each project are outlined in a proposal or written agreement between you and LegacyQuill.
03
Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and materials needed for your project.
Respond to requests for feedback and approvals within agreed timeframes, as delays may affect delivery dates.
Confirm that any content you supply is yours to use and does not infringe the rights of others.
Use our services only for lawful purposes.
04
Fees & Payments
Fees are set out in your project proposal. Unless agreed otherwise, work begins after the initial deposit is received, and remaining balances are due according to the agreed schedule. Late payments may pause work until the account is settled.
Refund eligibility, if any, depends on the stage of work completed and the terms of your written agreement. Work already delivered or substantially completed is generally non-refundable.
05
Ownership & Intellectual Property
You keep full ownership of your ideas and manuscripts. Upon full payment, all rights to the final deliverables created specifically for your project, including ghostwritten text, are assigned to you. Ghostwritten work is delivered without credit to LegacyQuill unless otherwise agreed.
LegacyQuill retains ownership of its website, branding, templates, and general methods. Unless you request otherwise, we may reference that we worked with you, but we will never disclose confidential project details.
06
Confidentiality
We treat your manuscripts, plans, and business information as confidential and will not disclose them to anyone outside the team working on your project, except where required by law. We ask that you likewise respect the confidentiality of our internal processes and pricing.
07
Revisions & Approvals
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds as stated in your proposal. Additional revisions or significant changes to scope after approval may be subject to extra fees and timeline adjustments, which we will agree with you before proceeding.
08
No Guarantee of Results
We bring deep expertise and proven strategies to every project, but publishing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, reader preferences, and platform policies. We cannot guarantee specific sales, rankings, reviews, bestseller status, or income.
09
Acceptable Use of the Website
Do not attempt to disrupt, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
Do not copy, scrape, or republish our content without written permission.
Do not submit false, misleading, or harmful information through our forms.
10
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LegacyQuill Agency and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost sales, arising from your use of the website or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.
11
Termination
Either party may end a project by providing written notice. You will remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the date of termination. We may suspend or end services immediately if these Terms are breached.
12
Third-Party Platforms
Our services may involve platforms such as Amazon KDP and social media networks. Those platforms have their own terms and policies, which you must follow. We are not responsible for changes to or decisions made by third-party platforms.
13
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern informally and fairly before pursuing other action.
